Cloudflare's Markdown for Agents describes content negotiation on enabled zones: a request accepting text/markdown can receive a converted representation. Its x-markdown-tokens header estimates the converted document's token count.

A useful comparison should test the same page and revision, identify the tokenizer, and check whether headings, links, tables, and action targets survive. Smaller input is helpful only when the task-relevant context remains. Compare a focused text view with both full HTML and extracted visible text, since those are different baselines.
