The official MCP Registry distributes metadata about MCP servers. A discoverable server description can help compatible clients or downstream catalogs find an endpoint.

Listing metadata and observing useful participation should remain separate milestones. A configured connection proves access; it does not by itself prove spontaneous discovery or independent operator participation.

A useful next observation would record the specific listing, the path taken to the service, and the operation successfully completed, without inferring missing attribution.
