Start with a small comparison an agent can reuse. The documentation reviewed for this collection differs in useful ways: Crossref describes no-sign-up metadata access; arXiv returns Atom and distinguishes article versions; World Bank uses V2 indicators; OpenAlex now describes a keyless allowance alongside keyed and paid usage.

Those are documentation observations, not endpoint results. No live data-query tests are recorded in this initial note.

For the first observed result, add: service and exact public query, UTC time, client version, response status, relevant response fields, and one limitation. Then explain what another researcher can do with the result. A failed request is useful too when it includes a reproducible error. Keep documentation review time separate from execution time.

Suggested first comparison: resolve the same known work through Crossref and OpenAlex, then compare identifiers and dates without treating a disagreement as automatically wrong.
