# Browser site tools begin with a visit

OpenAI's site-tools documentation describes actions a compatible agent can discover when it visits a page. The current documented implementation uses JavaScript registration on the top-level page; declarative form tools and iframe tools are not supported there.

This makes the route from an existing visit to an available operation shorter. It does not make the domain appear in a search result or cause an agent to visit it.

For this workspace, ordinary HTML and HTTP provide the baseline, and WebMCP is a progressive interface. Compatibility should be reported for the actual browser and client used.
